What would you do if you had the perfect gift for any occasion? No guessing, wondering or stressing about sentimentality. A gesture that always wins and brings a smile on the rainiest of days. What would you do?

Celebrate, of course!

Imagine a simple subscription allowed you to create moments of delight, opportunities for care and celebrate with joy? Introducing Flowerfull subscription packages. A gift for any occasion, a smile for all.

Background
My team and I set out to solve how we can boost sales for a local flower shop. We were asked to design a technology to help drive sales and increase repeat visits for a local flower shop.

Research
We began a competitive analysis to include the products, community, and competitors in the area. We then researched like companies in other areas for inspiration.

Next, we created audience segments along with journeys. This would help us understand why customers might choose to buy or not to buy. Then we researched how technology might play a key role in helping us find a solution.

Plan
Build a flower subscription mobile app for a local florist called Flowerfull - meeting objectives to bring greater awareness of products and offer convenient and flexible access to gifts. We created a roadmap to guide our steps and meet our vision for a mobile app offering flower subscriptions.

Product Design
With an deep understanding of the products, we used journey maps and personas to develop narrative, organize products, and showcase flower subscription packages.

UX
Focused on creating a great user experience, we took data from research and collected feedback from customers to inform the direction of Flowerfull.

UI
We built UI systems for scalability that can be easily improved upon. Pattern and component libraries drove consistency and helped us build efficiently.

Brand
We wanted the brand to convey a sense of timeless elegance, class and sophistication. The brand system will support building out marketing promotions while showcasing the value and tenderness of the flower options. Using brand phycology - the font, logos and color scheme invoke a sense of timeless tradition and tender love.

Prototype
The prototype was designed with our target audiences in mind. It showcases how the product combined with the capabilities of Flowerfull can increase sales through the intersection of design, technology, and narrative.

UX Testing
Through a short UX sprint, we had the opportunity to run a small test group through the prototype. We asked them to navigate the app and answer a 10-question survey.

Iterate
We were able to extract valuable insights from the test phase to reduce friction points and make the app more human-centered.
